If
a skater would like to skate on ice time in addition to their scheduled
times, or a member of another figure skating club would like to practice
on our ice, this is considered guest skating.
Any
skater wishing to guest skate is required to contact the SSSC President,
who can advise them if there is space. For safety purposes, the SSSC
has determined the maximum number of skaters allowable on the ice at
any one time.
A
log book of guest skating is kept at Gord Lamont's skate sharpening
booth at the Plex. Guest skaters must sign the log book and leave their
guest skating fee in the envelope provided.
The
cost for guest skating is $10 per discipline for SSSC members and $15
per discipline for non-members.
Every
guest skater must be a member in good standing at their own skating
club, and be able to provide their Skate Canada number for insurance
purposes.

Publicity
Throughout
the skating season your child will be involved in a variety of activities
within skating that could result in his/her identification. Some examples
could include media photos and articles, or names and photos in the
arena and on our web site.
If
you have an objections to your skater being identified within our club,
please contact a club executive member immediately.
Contacting
Lisa Bender by email at lrbender@bmts.com will suffice. An acknowledgement
of your request will be made.
