The Saugeen Shores Skating Club (SSSC) is sanctioned by Skate Canada and is a member club of the Skate Canada-Central Ontario Section. The Club offers a full range of programs, including CanSkate & Pre-Star (learn to skate), Star Skate (test program) and Synchroskate (team skating).
Regardless of which ice sport children choose hockey, ringette, figure skating, or speed skating, they must all learn the same basic skills. If a child can master the fundamentals, it will be easier for them to concentrate on the sport specific skills associated with any ice sport. SSSC is a not-for-profit organization served by dedicated volunteer board members and a highly skilled group of professional coaches. Our values fall in line with that of Skate Canada, which is an association dedicated to the principles of enabling every Canadian to participate in skating throughout their lifetime for fun, fitness and/or achievement. |
