The Jumps

The Spins

There are six basic jumps in skating.  They are broken down into two categories.  Edge Jumps and toe jumps.  Here are some links to videos that will explain how each one is performed.

There are an endless number of variations to spins in skating but there are three main categories of spins:
  • the upright spin
  • the camel spin
  • the sit spin
